ABOUT

Q: WHAT IS CANCER MOONSHOT?

A: It is a new documentary film that focuses on cutting-edge cancer breakthroughs and:

1. Addresses a huge problem: Discovering a cure for all 200 cancer subtypes.

2. Discusses a radical solution: Leveraging new immunotherapies and biologics to treat all cancers.

3. Sheds light on breakthrough 'omics' technology: Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics.

FYI: The term "moonshot" derives from the Apollo 11 spaceflight project, which landed the first human on the moon in 1969. "Moonshot" may also reference the earlier phrase "shoot for the moon" meaning aim for a lofty target.

Q: WHY CANCER MOONSHOT?

A: Scientists worry as cancer moonshots multiply.  They're fighting. We're here to help them relax.

We're here to unify them.  We're here to get 7 billion of us behind this moonshot -- the most vital moonshot in human history.

Q: HOW DOES CANCER MOONSHOT WORK?

A: We're spreading the love through media.  It's about enhanced communication.  Enhanced breakthrough data sharing.  Enhanced connection.  Data sharing can break down barriers between institutions, including those in the public and private sectors, to enable maximum knowledge gained and patients helped.

We're transforming the conversation around data sharing and develop new tools to leverage knowledge about genomic abnormalities, as well as the response to treatment and long-term outcomes.

Q: WHO ARE WE?

A: We're filmakers bringing together scientists, cancer physicians, patients, advocates, philanthropic organizations, doctorpreneurs and representatives of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.

We shed light on major new innovations in the understanding of and treatment for cancer to the world. We connect all parties, break down silos, give each stakeholder a voice and help share data to generate new ideas and breakthroughs.

We collaborate; We coordinate; We communicate; We cooperate; We cure.  We're here to help end cancer as we know it.
